HELLO TIGERS
Where stately oaks and broad magnolias shade inspiring
halls. From the Parade Ground to the Quad, the LSU campus
is full of spots to study, skateboard and hang out with friends.
Around 37,000 students studied at LSU in the 2022-2023 school
year, an all-time enrollment high. The Fall semester officially
began on Aug. 22, 2022, and the Spring semester closed with
commencement ceremonies on May 19 and 20, 2023. Of
course, everyone will have their own special memories from
this year whether it was tailgating before football games, a
trip to the Dairy Store or anything else in between. Campus
life was in full swing after experiencing extended restrictions
following the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. The next few pages
highlight some of the best events from the year, from annual
student favorites, like Welcome Week and Fall Fest, to first-time
celebrations, like Rock the Square. It’s always a great day to
say “Geaux Tigers!”
