LSU’s student chapter of the
American Society of Landscape Architects
The LSU Student Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (SC/ASLA) connects students with the broader landscape architecture community at the local and national levels. Through
leadership roles, networking opportunities, and involvement in ASLA’s Louisiana Chapter, members
gain access to valuable resources, professional development, and career pathways. SC/ASLA promotes
student engagement through lectures, community outreach, and social events while representing the
student body on school committees. The organization fosters collaboration between students, educators, and professionals—building a strong foundation for future practice in landscape architecture.
