Crochet Club
Crochet Club at LSU is a space where fiber artists of all skill levels can share their
craft, find community on campus, and participate in charitable opportunities. We
meet weekly, often following a beginner-friendly pattern and socializing with fellow crocheters. Club members are always available to help out newcomers to this
“old-fashioned” hobby. Our club even offers opportunities for volunteer hours, including participating in Geaux Big, LSU’s biggest student service event of the year!
We have partnered with library branches to help do projects and teach beginner
crocheters. Overall, our goal is to create sustainable pieces and a comfortable environment for students to foster the art of crochet.
