Society of Black Engineers
The LSU Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is celebrating its 40th year
of excellence, dedication, and impact. We are committed to the academic and professional success of
Black engineering students at Louisiana State University. Through mentorship, leadership
development, community outreach, and social events, we foster a strong support network and sense of
community. Our chapter also provides career advancement opportunities and hosts impactful
