LSU Student Chapter of ITE
(Institute of Transportation Engineers).
The main goal of the ITE LSU Student Chapter is to excel among other
student engineering organizations by providing academic and
professional resources to its members. It is the responsibility of the ITE LSU
Student Chapter to establish the standard for meetings, events,
organizations while also to promote the fields of transportation and traffic
engineering. This is accomplished by interacting with prospective
members, recruiting new members, and hosting general body meetings
that foster close relations among students and professionals in the
transportation and traffic engineering profession. It is also the
responsibility of the chapter to announce job and scholarship
opportunities to the members of the club.
