The Fashion Association at Louisiana State University Description: The Fashion Association at
LSU is a student-led organization dedicated to fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional growth within the fashion industry. We value sustainability, innovation, and leadership,
offering members hands-on experience through workshops, networking events, and industry
panels. Our most important event is the annual student-run fashion show, which showcases
original collections from LSU designers and draws over 600 guests each year. As the largest
independent fashion show in Louisiana, it provides students the opportunity to present their
work in a professional setting, manage production behind the scenes, and gain real-world experience in design, merchandising, PR, and event coordination.
