National Organization of Minority
Architecture Students
The National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS) at LSU
champions diversity, leadership, and service in architecture. Our chapter fosters a welcoming
environment where students grow professionally, build lasting connections with alumni and
industry leaders, and make a meaningful impact through community outreach. Signature programs like Educate & Elevate, Light-A-Fire, and our Professional Development Day empower
students to lead with purpose and celebrate underrepresented voices in design. In recognition
of our efforts, we were proudly named the 2024 NOMA Student Chapter of the Year. NOMAS LSU
remains dedicated to shaping a more inclusive, equitable, and inspired future through
mentorship, education, and design excellence.
