One of the favorite KLSU traditions happened with great success. KLSU,
an LSU well known Radio Station, participated in College Radio Day like every
year. On October 5th, KLSU invited the LSU and Baton Rouge
Community to come join them at the Tin Roof Brewery for an afternoon celebrating music, but more importantly, College Radio. This year, three bands performed,
Rareseed, Kinky Vanilla, and the Debtors. KLSU also invited a ton of artists and
vendors. From Vintage clothing and jewelry to posters, to CDs. People of all ages
came from all over Baton Rouge to
support one of the best local Radio Stations. As night came, the event grew, some
people dressed up, and there was the memorable costume of Wirt for Over the
Garden Wall. The Music, food, and vibes were
wonderful that day. All the KLSU members were all in the same place
celebrating their work and a long continued legacy.
