HOMECOMING

LSU Homecoming came early in October this year, and it had many fun surprises. The Resident Association had its annual Splaterbeat, and the Student Government had a Jumbo game
night in the Parade Grounds. The annual NPHC Step Show and Geau Dive Live! Drag show was
terri昀椀c, as always. Something new was the Homecoming Gala held by the Global Community
Center, which was fun and had some incredible out昀椀ts. The Panhellenic Council decorated
their lawns and had their block party, which was exciting and fun as usual. On Friday, there was
the homecoming parade that had LSU favorites like Nikhia Sims, Miss LSU. To close on Friday, the
Urec had Shack and DJ Diesel play a set for students and faculty. This fun and excitement led
to Saturday when the LSU football team played Ole Miss. Brian Gage and Camille Cronin were
crowned Homecoming King and Queen, and we beat Ole Miss 29-26.
